ANHTU demands immediate release of pending salaries

DIMAPUR, JUN 2 (NPN)

All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) expressed concern over the non-payment of salaries for the past three months (March, April & May 2025) to CSS Hindi teachers of 2012, 2013 & 2015 batches serving in various districts of Nagaland.
In a press release, ANHTU president Kekhrieneilie Tsakhano stated that Hindi teachers despite severe hardships have continued to fulfil their duties with sincerity and dedication, ensuring that students did not suffer academically.
The union also stated that the teachers were enduring a very difficult time, adding that pro-longed delay in salary disbursement has placed immense emotional and financial strain on their families.
ANHTU further said that for many of teachers, their salary was the sole source of livelihood, and such prolonged delay was not only unjust but inhumane.
Therefore, the union has urged the department of school education and the state government to immediately release their pending salaries.
