Animal health cum vaccination camp was organised by ICAR KVK Longleng on October 12 at Lingtak village.
A press release by ICAR KVK Longleng stated that during the camp, ACTO KVK Longleng Dr. Lily Ngullie spoke on the importance of vaccination in pigs with swine fever vaccine since it is the most common disease occurring in pigs with huge mortality and anti-rabies vaccine (ARV) in dogs.
Importance of regular deworming in livestock and administration of mineral mixture supplementation for better growth and productivity were also discussed during the camp.
The camp was assisted by Veterinary Field Assistants from department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Longleng.
