Annual inspection 2016 of 10th NAP (IR) Bn, Zhadima was conducted on March 10, where IGP (NAP) Nagaland, L. Bendang Lemtur inspected all the various branches under the establishment.
IGP gave valuable suggestions for better performance and functioning of the office to the staff. He also interacted with the officers of the battalion and urged them to “go back to the basics” on which the old Nagaland Police armed battalions were established and replicate them as they were raised on a sound system.
He also urged the officers to take keen personal interest in the welfare of the jawans and take initiatives and challenges with positive attitude and zeal.
He called upon all the personnel to uphold the good name earned by Nagaland Police and also assured them that grievances pointed out by them would be sorted out in the best possible and prompt manner. The visit of the senior officer had immensely benefitted the battalion and the morale of the force had been boosted. The commandant and all ranks expressed their gratitude to him for his deep concern and constructive visit which would ultimately enable the battalion to grow stronger in the days to come.
