DIMAPUR: Office of the Senior Treasury Officer, Dimapur has informed all pensioners drawing pension from the Treasury Office that the Annual Physical Verification for 2026 will be conducted from September 21 to November 3, 2026.
Verification will begin on September 21 with family pensioners bearing PPO numbers F1–500 and life pensioners L1–1500. The schedule will continue in batches up to October 13, covering family pensioners up to F5001 and above and life pensioners up to L6001–6500.
From October 14 to 27, special dates have been allotted for life pensioners in different PPO ranges, including absentees and those facing health issues. The final period, October 28 to November 3, will cover absentees, pensioners with health issues, old age pensioners aged 75 years and above, and other cases.
Pensioners appearing for verification have been advised to bring the following documents: Duly filled Life Certificate Form countersigned by a Gazetted Officer; PPO Book; Photocopy of Aadhaar Card; Photocopy of current bank passbook front page and Passport size photograph taken within the last six months. The Life Certificate Form can be collected from the Treasury Office during working hours or downloaded from the Department of Treasuries and Accounts website. Pensioners whose first pension payment was settled after April 1, 2026, need not appear for verification.
Pensioners have also been encouraged to make use of the Jeevan Pramaan portal for generation of Digital Life Certificates (DLC). Those successfully registered and mapped with the TreasuryNet application will be exempted from physical verification.
The Treasury Office urged pensioners to follow the prescribed schedule and produce the required documents to ensure smooth completion of the annual verification process.
