Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-29) of NCC conducted by 1 Nagaland Girls Batallion NCC, Kohima, under the aegis of NCC Group HQ, got underway on December 11, at Greenwood School, Dimapur.
A press release from Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh PRO & spokesperson, informed that over 550 cadets, from Senior and Junior Divisions, from the affiliated institutions across the state were attending the camp.
During the course of the 10-day camp, the cadets will be trained and tested in various service subjects and will be groomed on military bearing and discipline.
A number of guest lectures experts in respective fields, on various contemporary subjects of interest including will be taken up including military equipment and band display. Apart from skill testing, cadets will also get an opportunity to showcase their skills in cultural events.
