ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit organises Inter-School Meet

DIMAPUR, OCT 8 (NPN): The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Chümoukedima Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, organised the Inter-School Meet 2026 at the 1st NAP Battalion Unit Ground, Chümoukedima, on October 8.
The event featured competitions in U-20 boys’ football and U-16 girls’ volleyball, bringing together young athletes from private schools across the Chümoukedima Unit.
Addressing the gathering as the special guest, Chümoukedima Town Council chairman Lhousito Khro encouraged students to make the best use of their student life and take advantage of the opportunities available to them.
Khro expressed appreciation to the ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit for organising the event, saying such initiatives provide meaningful opportunities for students while promoting sports and healthy participation among young people.
The programme was led by co-convenor Imti, with invocation offered by principal, Carmel Higher Secondary School Rev. Fr Anthony Samy. Convenor Bendangchuba delivered the welcome address, while students of NPCS, Chümoukedima presented an aerobic dance performance.
The ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit comprises 48 schools, making the Inter-School Meet a platform for students from across the unit to come together and foster sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and healthy competition.
The organisers expressed appreciation to the special guest, Department of Youth Resources and Sports, participating schools, officials, teachers, students, volunteers and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the event.
