ANPSA concludes 3rd phase Sepak Takraw training

DIMAPUR, Jul 4 (NPN)

The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA)–Central, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, successfully conducted the third phase of teacher training from July 2 to 4 as part of preparations for the upcoming State Level Sepak Takraw tournament for Under-14 Boys and Girls.
The training was held simultaneously in Kohima and Mon, with a total of 27 schools participating from across multiple districts. At IG Stadium Kohima, 18 schools from Kohima, Peren, Phek, Meluri, and Tsemintu underwent sessions led by Holshe Khrieo and his team. In Mon, nine schools received hands-on coaching from the District Sports Office.
The Director of Youth Resources and Sports graced the final day of training in Kohima, underscoring the state government’s support for grassroots sports development. Participating schools were presented with two Sepak Takraw balls and a net each to facilitate practice and competition readiness.
The final phase of the training is scheduled to begin on July 7 in Mokokchung, covering the districts of Mokokchung, Longleng, Zunheboto, and Wokha.
