ANPSA organises literary competition

All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Chümoukedima Unit organized a Literary Competition on September 26, at Carmel Higher Secondary School, Chekiye Village, under the theme “Exploring the Best of Mind and Creativity.”
The event brought together students, teachers, and school heads from various institutions, celebrating the power of words and the vibrant creativity of young minds. A wide range of competitions were held, providing a platform for students to showcase their literary skills, expression, and imagination. Speaking at the closing programme, guest of honor, president, ANPSA Central, Nini Sekhose, underscored the importance of literary activities and the power of words. She congratulated participants and noted that such competitions build vocabulary, improve confidence, and help individuals express themselves effectively. Quoting Proverbs 18:21 – “Death and life are in the power of the tongue”, Sekhose reminded students of the importance of using words wisely, mentioning that words have the power to either bless or curse.
Earlier, the inaugural and closing programme was chaired by Carmel Higher Secondary School, assistant teacher, Jessy and executive member, ANPSA Mhasino Kuotsu repectively. The invocation was pronounced by Carmel Higher Secondary School, director DAN, Rev.Fr. Sajan and welcome speech by member, literary committee Fr. Antony Samy. The vote of thanks was delivered by president, ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit, Imti Temsu Chakhesang. The programme concluded with prize distribution and declaration of results.
