ANPWDFWA informs units

All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association PWD (R&B) and Housing has informed its unit presidents and secretaries to clear the defaulting membership fee of their respective units as it has not reached the central office bearers for the past five to six years.
The association president, Inakhu Aye, and the general secretary, K Atovi Awomi, warned that failing to pay the evading memberships during the pending salary disbursement would invite remedial consequences and the association would publicize the names of the defaulters division-wise. The association further said it would not entertain any kind of responsibility for the erring units. The release also stated that the association has noticed some of its member employees instead of being stationed at their postings are creating disturbances for disbursement of pending salaries at the Directorate under the influence of intoxication. The association cautioned its members not repeat such act against any divisional officer or at the Directorate.
The association, while urging the state government to fulfill the demands made in the joint forum regarding regularization and ROP, has also requested that work-charged and casual employees be made at par with other employees who are enjoying ROP.
ANPWDFWA has been fighting for regularization of work charged employees and ROP through the Guwahati High Court for a long time now but some vested individuals in connection with willful work-charged employees are trying to process the files, the release alleged.
The association has requested the Engineer-In-Chief, NPWD to abstain from entertaining any file from unauthorised person(s) without the knowledge of the association as it might lead to problems which it said would not be held responsible.
