ANSASCF convenes meeting; SAH new team installed

DIMAPUR: To facilitate the handing and taking over of responsibilities between the outgoing and incoming office bearers of the Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho (SAH), the All Nagaland Sumi Aphuyemi Senior Citizen Forum (ANSASCF) convened a meeting at URA Restaurant, Kohima, on July 17. The meeting was chaired by Zutovi G. Swu, president of ANSASCF.
During the programme, several members of the Senior Citizen Forum exhorted the new team of SAH to remain steadfast, united and safeguard the rights and interests of the Sumi Aphuyemi. They also encouraged forging cordial relations with government agencies and civil societies for the welfare of the people of Pughoboto.
The Forum expressed gratitude to the outgoing office bearers and executive members for their selfless services rendered during times of crisis and conflict.
After the formal handing and taking over, Rev. Dr. Kiyeto G. Sema, senior pastor of SABCK, shared words of encouragement from 1 Corinthians 14:7–8 and invoked blessings upon both outgoing and incoming officials.
The new SAH team comprises 16 members headed by Ghuzui Shohe as president, with three eminent advisors: the present MLA of 13th A/C Pughoboto, a former president of SAH, and K. Nihoto Chishi, retired secretary of Law & Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Nagaland.
