ANTA Wokha Unit issues directive to taxi owners

DIMAPUR

All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), Wokha Unit, has issued directives to all taxi owners under its jurisdiction to ensure passenger safety and maintain service standards.
In a press release, ANTA Wokha Unit informed that all taxi owners must keep their vehicle documents up to date. These include registration certificate (RC), insurance, pollution under control (PUC) certificate and fitness certificate. Owners have been asked to carry either original or digital copies of these documents while operating.
Taxi owners have also been directed to keep their vehicles in good condition by conducting regular checks on essential parts such as brakes, tires, lights, horn, wipers, and other key components. Vehicles should be kept clean both inside and outside, and any mechanical or safety issues must be addressed immediately. It also reminded owners to equip their taxis with working seat belts, fire extinguishers and first-aid kits.
