Responding to the statement issued by ANTA Hq president, the ANTA Zunheboto has extended full support to the same.
A press release from ANTA Zunheboto president Katoshe Yeptho Sema stated that, drivers are also human beings and their first priority was the safety and well-being of their family and near and dear ones. Secondly the drivers and family mostly depend on the meagre income earned through driving on a daily basis. ANTA Zunheboto stated that, the problem arises when the government ignores the plight of the drivers, as without this source of income many drivers and families will starve. While stating that many drivers and their families are actually on a critical level as the lockdown has been going on for quite some, the ANTA Zunheboto requested the government to take necessary action. It also stated that if concerned authority does not take up the matter seriously, ANTA Zunheboto will be compelled to take drastic actions.
