Office of the chief veterinary officer (CVO) has informed pet owners in Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland districts that the department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) will be organising a free-anti rabies vaccination in commemoration of “World Rabies Day”, on September 28, on the theme, “Rabies-One Health, Zero Deaths”.
In this regard, CVO office has informed all concerned that the vaccination camps will commence from 9 am, at Duncan Council Hall; CTC Hall Chümoukedima and Public Ground Niuland. All the pet owners have been asked to avail the opportunity and vaccinate their pet dogs.
