Ao Senden holds 21st general conference

The 21st general conference of the Ao Senden was held at the town hall, here, on Friday. 
During the conference, various reports were presented including the nomination of a new team of office bearers for the next tenure.
The nominating committee re-elected the present team for the next tenure led by Chubawati Longchar as president and Imtipokyim as secretary.
Meanwhile, minister for rural development, Metsubo Jamir exhorted the gathering where he stressed on the importance of peace and unity in order for the society to move forward.
He said that the Aos inherited a great heritage and legacy and therefore it should be maintained.
Stressing on the importance of unity, the minister called upon the people to remain united as one in order to face any challenges
He further called upon the people to strive together and march ahead in peace and unity.
