Ao Senden and all civil societies under its banner would not participate in any government functions until the government fulfilled demands of 5 Tribes Committee on Review of Reservation Policy (CoRRP).
In a letter to the deputy commissioner (DC) Mokokchung, Ao Senden president Marsanen Imsong and general secretary Imtipokyim said the decision was taken following the joint meeting unanimous resolution of August 9, 2025 by the 5 Tribes CoRRP and the five apex Hohos and the general instructions for non-participation in all state government functions dated August 12, 2025.
