Ao Students Conference (AKM) condemns ‘extortion by unidentified armed miscreants’

DIMAPUR: Ao Students Conference (AKM) has strongly condemned the “extortion that was carried out by unidentified armed miscreants” on Nitin Sai Construction at Changtongya-Dikhu road on February 27.
In a press release, AKM president Nungdokyanger and general secretary Nekmi Longkumer stated that the unidentified armed robbery and extortion was unacceptable and should be condemned by all responsible citizens.
AKM anticipated the support from all corners for a prosperous and round development in our great state and believed that it was the responsibility of all, to safeguard “rather than extort and demand from the developmental projects for us.”
Further, the conference asked the miscreants to retrospect the incident and give back the keys before the situation escalated and got out of hand. AKM has warned that it would not tolerate such activities under its jurisdiction and assured that it would remain vigilant and pursue the issue until resolved.
