MOKOKCHUNG: Ao Senden along with other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) including Watsu Mungdang and Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) paid rich tributes to member of collective leadership, NSCN (I-M), late Limachuba at main town square (police point) as the entourage passed Mokokchung on the way to Sungratsu village on Saturday.
All the shops around Mokokchung town downed their shutters to pay respects to the NSCN (I-M) member, where a brief prayer programme was held before late Limachuba was taken to his village.
Watsu Mungdang and AKM paid floral tributes while Ao Senden president, Chubawati Longchar gave a brief speech and wrapped an Ao shawl on the coffin.
The programme ended with a prayer offered by pastor Mokokchung Town Baptist Church.
