Aotula Imchenassumes charge as CP Dimapur

Aotula T. Imchen, IPS, formally assumed office as the new Commissioner of Police (CP), Dimapur, on Thursday following a brief handover ceremony held at the CP’s office, Dimapur, PRO CP’s office said in a press note.
She succeeded Kevithuto Sophie, IPS, who has been promoted and posted as IGP (Armed BN/IR) & IGP (VG).
After taking charge, Aotula expressed her commitment to serve the people of the Police Commissionerate districts of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland. Aotula said she was committed to upholding the rule of law, strengthening public trust and ensuring the safety and security of all communities across the city, while seeking the cooperation of all.
