Delegates of Action Plan Committee (APC) Tuensang district on August 9 called on union minister of National Highways & Shipping, Nitin Gadkari, at Transport Bhavan, New Delhi, and apprised him on the deplorable condition of NH-155/202 from Mokokchung to Tuensang. The delegation also submitted a memorandum to the union minister on the deplorable condition of the NH.
In a press statement, APC said that union minister reportedly assured to take up the matter seriously and initiate necessary steps at the earliest. Meanwhile, APC expressed gratitude to the union minister Nitin Gadkari for sparing time with delegation despite his busy schedule owing to Parliament session. The committee also thanked Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, for extending his support on the given matter. Further, APC extended its appreciation to the village councils of Tuensang district for contributing financial aid towards the mission.
