Agri Expo Chümoukedima roared to life as the much anticipated Apex Combat Championship (ACC) delivered an evening of intense Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action. In the main event, the exhibition bout between Musa Conteh of American Top Team and Tovi Sema, Conteh defeated Tovi Sema by submission on the first round to secure a win.
The co-main event featured a Bantamweight professional clash between the undefeated national gold medalist, Chourajit Laishram, and formidable Darren Karshandy. The match witnessed a display of sheer determination and tactical prowess.

Both fighters relied on their techniques rather than a power punch focused fight in the first round.
In the second round, both fighters landed more blows that connected neatly.
The third round witnessed a mixture of technical and test of strength with Laishram winning the bout with split decision.
In the Flyweight category, Nazareth Lalthazuala and Aman Gussain engaged in a fast paced, high intensity battle.
A Technical Knock Out (TKO) ended the game in FA out of Gussain.
Meanwhile, Aboto Ayemi and Phenom Lalhmangaihzuala faced off in a Welterweight showdown. Ayemi, with his impressive KO record, relied on his striking prowess, while Lalhmangaihzuala demonstrated his ground game expertise, living up to his face off reply, “I am ready for his blows”. The clash of styles resulted in a back-and-forth contest with Ayemi winning at the end.
The return of Aloto Zhimomi after a hiatus against Remmy Kharshandy in a Welterweight bout was a memorable moment not only for fans, but also for the fighters. The seasoned veterans displayed a wealth of experience and tactical knowledge, showcasing their enduring love for the sport. The referee ended the match due to injury to Kharshandy with TKO.
Female fighters Sentizungla Ozukum and Aasory Tamang brought the crowd to their feet with their spirited performance. In the second round, the referee ended the match due to TKO in favor of Tamang.
Debutants HMS Dawngzuala and Kedo, in the Welterweight category, left an indelible mark with their determined performance. Both fighters exhibited a hunger for victory. Kedo at the end took home his first ever win for his MMA career. The fight lasted for three rounds
In an unconventional but highly entertaining exhibition encounter, Nagaland’s pop sensation Renbeni Odyuo faced off against multi-talented personality and former Roadies contestant, Leezare.
The clash of words outside the Octagon at the face off event lived up to its expectations with Odyuo controlling the bout till the end. Another exhibition match was also witnessed between singer songwriter Joshua Shohe and model Tonoto Zhimomi.
