Apok graces KLC annual parting social

Kohima Law College (KLC) 37th annual parting social-cum-magazine release programme was held on November 28 at State Academy Hall, Kohima with parliamentary secretary for Tourism, C. Apok Jamir as the chief guest. 
The programme was organised by Kohima Law College Students’ Union (KLCSU) and supervised by assistant professor, Kezhokoto Savi who is the student’s welfare in-charge.
While unveiling the annual college magazine, C. Apok Jamir, congratulated the outgoing students and challenged the students to have a clear aim and objective to bring about change in the society. 
He stated that the present Naga society is in a state of disarray but one must use that as a driving force to bring about changes and therefore courage and aim is eminent. 
Jamir, who is also a law graduate, stated that studying law and obtaining a degree was not enough and asserted that practicing law was a different challenge and in the course of law practice, one must have the courage to do what was right and stand for justice.
 He encouraged the students that despite hurdles and obstacles, one must not be afraid to confront them and take every obstacle that comes their way, and that would strengthen them. 
Jamir further urged them to be courageous, have a clear aim and stand for what is right and fight for a better tomorrow.
KLC, principal, Visevonuo Pienyu also encouraged and exhorted the outgoing students and highlighted the success and laurels that the college had produced. 
Aleno Sale spoke on behalf of the graduating students, expressing gratitude and appreciation to the college and the faculty. 
KLCSU, president, Sepikyu J Sangtam delivered a speech addressed to the graduating students and also welcoming the chief guest.
