Based on specific information about the movement of an arms peddler in general area Aoyimsen colony, troops of 32 Assam Rifles launched a search operation along with police representatives and apprehended an ex NNC cadre identified as Thysam.
On searching the house, the troops found one illegal muzzle loading .22 rifle, one hand grenade and some incriminating documents.
The apprehended individual along with the recovered items was handed over to West Police station, Dimapur.
