AR apprehends arms peddler

Acting on specific information about the presence of unauthorized weapons in general area of Ward No. 6, Chumukedima, troops of 37 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 6 Sector Assam Rifles launched a search operation on January 12 and recovered one Point 22 Pistol.
PRO said the house owner Moa (40), resident of Chumukedima Dimapur was apprehended. The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to Diphupar Police Station Dimapur.
