Wokha battalion of Assam Rifles organized an interaction with Veer Naris and War widows, attended by ten ladies, eight children and five relatives of martyrs. According to DIPR, the program was held on October 20 on the occasion of Police Commemoration day.
The interaction primarily focused on addressing problems and grievances of ESMs and Veer Naris. During the interaction ESM and Veer Naris were advised to maintain healthy relationships among themselves and stay united in order to jointly address various day to day problems.
In addition, the ESM and Veer Naris were explained the background and significance of the Police Commemoration Day.
