Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) conduted various welfare activities for the local populace across the state in the month of June.
A report from Assam Rifles informed that mass rally and awareness programme against drugs and other substance abuse in conjunction with civil administration was conducted on June 23 at Dimapur from Airport to ARTC& S 3rd Mile.
Assam Rifles also organised “A Day with Company Commander” for the students of Chirst King School (CKS) on June 21, at AR Ridge Coy, Kohima.
A total of 19 students and two teachers from CKS participated in the event. The event started with celebration of 9th International Yoga Day.
A motivational video was screened which was based on history and contributions of
Assam Rifles as the oldest force in the North East protecting people and helping youths in shaping their careers for a successful future and nation building.
