Battalions of Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of Headquarters, Inspector Genera of Assam Rifles (IGAR-North conducted various activities across the state for the welfare of the local populance.
According to PRO (Defence), the Shamatore battalion organised a lecture for Sainik School aspirants on November 28 at Choklangan Village, Noklak district.
Zunheboto battalion conducted blood group testing medical camp on November 28 at Zunheboto Town. On the Occasion of 66th Raising day, Zunheboto battalion also paid homage to the brave hearts at unit war memorial by conducting wreath laying.
Mon battalion of Assam Rifles conducted medical camps at Hongphoi Village, Mon District and Lapa Lempong Village on November 28 and November 30 respectively.
The Mon battalion of Assam Rifles also distributed computer systems to Mon Vale College on November 29.
