Kohima Assam Rifles battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a lecture program on “World Rabies day” at Jotsoma Science College, Kohima on October 18.
According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the lecture focused on imparting knowledge about rabies, its prevention and causes.
Rabies day is celebrated as part of an international awareness campaign throughout the world. During the lecture, precautions and actions taken against and after dog bites were discussed.
30 NCC cadets and one lecturer of Jotsoma Science College, Kohima attended the event.
