Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) has been organising activities such as awareness campaign, vaccination drive, plantation drive and interactions across the state.
Ghaspani Bn: Ghaspani battalion of Assam Rifles conducted awareness campaign on the employment avenues for women at Ghaspani, Dimapur, on July 6. As part of the event, local youth including women were informed about upcoming army recruitment for women military police, Assam Rifles meritorious sportsman recruitment, SSC exams and various employment opportunities in state services.
Kiphire Bn: Kiphire battalion in collaboration with district administration Kiphire organised a COVID vaccination drive on July 5 and July 6 at Betang village and Mimi Village Kiphire respectively. The battalion also organised a tree plantation drive on July 6 at Thongsonyu Village, Kiphire under the theme, “clean and green Nagaland”. The plantation drive aimed at creating awareness on a pollution free environment.
