Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR(N) conducted various activities across the state. According to PRO (Defence), the Assam Rifles, in an effort to enhance basic infrastructure in far flung areas under nationwide initiative “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” inaugurated a fully furnished Toilet/Bathroom for young children of Christian School Heningkunglwa in Peren.
Assam Rifles, under Civic Action Programme, distributed 10 Sintex Tanks to Anaki Old Village on December 20, at Tuli, distributed by DIG, 7 Sect Assam Rifles. Assam Rifles, under OP Sadbhavana project, also inaugurated a Skill Development Centre for women under the theme “Passion to profession” and provided 20 Sewing machines to Tuli, Merankong Women Association on December 20, at Tuli Merangkong.
