Shamator battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) distributed two sets of computers with furniture and sports equipment to Chokhagan village on April 18. According to PRO, HQ IGAR (N), the aim of this endeavour was to empower the youth in remotely located areas and motivate them towards E-literacy and education at large. Village GB, other council members, teachers of the Government Primary School and students attended the event which culminated with informal interaction and refreshments.
