Assam Rifles under Op Sadhbhavna organised a National Integration Tour for 24 girl students belonging to under privileged families from remote villages bordering Myanmar.
The 12-day tour was flagged off on December 8, where the team will be visiting Jorhat, Kaziranga, Guwhati and Shillong.
The objective of organising the tour was to give children from border villages an opportunity to gain exposure and broaden their horizons. It will include visiting various sites of historic, national importance and interaction with dignitaries. Meanwhile, village authorities, parents and School staff expressed gratitude to the Assam Rifles.
