Assam Rifles conducted a security meetings and awareness session with the village GBs and village council members of nearby villages at Tobu and Changlangshu, Mon district on January 8 and 9.
According to Assam Rifles source, the meeting was attended by village GBs, village council chairmen and village guards of surrounding villages. The meeting was conducted to discuss security related issues along Indo-Myanmar border.
The leaders promised to co-operate completely with the Assam Rifles and expressed happiness and gratitude to the Assam Rifles. The security forces also conducted a security meeting and awareness session with the village GBs and village council members at Changlangshu on January 8.
