Zunheboto Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted medical camps at Kulhopu and Yehimi, Zunheboto on January 9 and 10, respectively.
Assam Rifles, in a press release, stated that the camp was organized with an aim to provide medical assistance to residents of Kulhopu and Yehimi villages as well as adjoining villages. A total of 147 patients (51 male, 68 female and 28 children) were examined and treated in Kulhopu, while in Yehimi, the number of patients were 174 (55 male, 73 female and 46 children).
Apart from providing free medical checkups and medicines, basic awareness and guidance on personal hygiene was also discussed.
