Assam Rifles organised “A Day with Company Commander” for the Bright Light Choir team, a group of young singers on October 7 at Kashiram Basti, Dimapur. The event showcased engaging activities fostering camaraderie and patriotism among the participants.
The day began with an exclusive screening of Assam Rifles movie, highlighting the valour and dedication of the armed forces. The participants were then enthralled by the soulful tunes of the Jazz Band during an interactive session.
Outdoor activities, including balloon shooting, ring games, fishing, football, musical chairs, tug of war, and a thrilling spoon race, added to the day’s excitement. The event culminated with a visit to the Quarter Guard and a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem. The event witnessed participation of 14 students and two teachers.
This initiative provided a valuable opportunity for Bright Light Choir team, to learn about armed forces and their crucial role in national security. Reflecting Assam Rifles commitment to nurturing patriotism among the youth, this initiative, aimed at instilling the essence of teamwork, discipline, and dedication required for military service.
