AR organises friendly volleyball match

In an initiative to foster goodwill, Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match with the local youth of Kezo Town at Chakhabama, Kohima on JulY 15. The event aimed to promote mutual respect and enhance the bond between the security forces and the civil population.
A press release by IGAR (N) stated that the match was marked by enthusiastic participation from both sides and culminated in a friendly interaction session, reinforcing a shared sense of harmony and unity.
The release stated that the sporting endeavor served not only as a platform for encouraging physical fitness and team spirit but also as an important step towards deepening trust and cooperation between the armed forces and the local community.
