AR organize veterinary camps in Chukitong, Molvom

Assam Rifles as part of its “Op Sadbhavana” for the year 2015 – 16, organized veterinary camps at Chukitong and Molvom on two separate occasions.
On January 12, 17 AR under the aegis of Hq. 5 Sector Assam Rifles provided medical aid to 538 pets by a team of 14 mobile veterinary hospital at Chukitong  under Wokha.
Free health check-up of locals and women was also conducted by SMO and female medical staff of the unit. Free medicines were dispensed to villagers as part of the medical camp. 67 patients including children, women and elders attended the camp.  
On January 11, 37 AR in conjunction with 14 mobile field veterinary hospital conducted the camp at Molvom village. Camp was attended by around 200 locals encompassing twelve villages in the vicinity of Molvom. Veterinary aid was provided to around 1200 animals including cattle, pigs, sheep/ goat, canines and poultry. Free medicines were disbursed to animals and birds.
