Assam Rifles participated in a friendly volleyball match with the youth of Peren district on April 3, 2024. According to PRO, the event, which held at Peren town, witnessed display of sportsmanship and teamwork as both sides showcased their athletic prowess.
PRO informed that the match served as a platform to foster goodwill and strengthen bonds between the Assam Rifles personnel and the local youth community. A total of 18 villagers gathered for the match.
Further, PRO informed that the event underscored Assam Rifles’ commitment to engaging with local communities and contributing positively to their development.
Through sports and other outreach activities, Assam Rifles continues to bridge gaps and nurture relationships across diverse cultures and regions, PRO added.
