DIMAPUR, JUL 15 (NPN): The Viswema Youth Organisation (VYO), in collaboration with the Kohima District Archery Association (KDAA), successfully conducted a two-day Archery Coaching Camp for children aged 12 to 16 years on July 13 and 14, at the Multipurpose Hall, Viswema.
A total of 46 participants took part in the camp, where they were introduced to the basic skills and techniques of archery. The sessions were designed to provide young learners with foundational knowledge of the sport while encouraging discipline and focus.
Officials from the KDAA expressed strong confidence in the participants’ potential, urging them to pursue archery with dedication and perseverance. They emphasized that consistent practice could lead to future success and medal-winning performances in competitive events.
The Viswema Youth Organisation extended its sincere gratitude to the KDAA for bringing the coaching initiative to the community, highlighting the importance of such programmes in nurturing talent and promoting sports among youth.
