ARK foundation expresses regret

ARK Foundation has expressed regret for the “unintended act” to go against the appeal made by the Angami Youth Organization (AYO). In a press note, ARK foundation president Ketho Angami said that during the programme held on September 19 at Kohima “Promoting cultural exchange- Journey to the roots of culture”, the foundation, contrary to the statement issued by AYO, invited Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) to be part of the program as a special invitee.

“This turn of event was purely unintentional and was never aimed to go against the statement and the appeal made by the AYO to organizations to desist from associating or give any kind of platform to individuals claiming to represent the NMA,” ARK said. The foundation, therefore expressed regret and assured that no such acts would reoccur as per the decision of the AYO.
