Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General of Assam Rifles (IGAR-North) and in collaboration with department of Social Welfare conducted “Break the Silence” campaign at Jawahar Navodaya School, Pfutsero, to raise awareness about mental health and substance abuse.
The event featured local pageant winners, who joined forces to highlight the importance of mental well-being and the dangers of substance abuse.
According to Assam Rifles source, the campaign aims to reach various communities across the state and is dedicated to foster open discussions on mental health, dispelling myths surrounding substance abuse, and providing support. The first phase of the campaign started on August 12, in Kohima, has reached Pfutsero.
