With the objective to inculcate awareness and uplift the intellectual level of troops of ARTC & School, Inter battalion quiz competition was organized on August 5, at ARTC & School, Shokhuvi with ARTC & School commandant Brigadier Gurjap Singh as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Brigadier Gurjap Singh, Commandant, ARTC & School appreciated the intellectual level of contestants and the organizing staff for conducting the event in systematic and professional manner. Expressing the satisfaction over the cognition level of the troops, he said that it is matter of pride for ARTC & School to have such level of intelligence of troops.
The competition was participated by all three training battalions of ARTC & School with a number of 45 contestants comprising 15 contestants from each training battalion.
Later, the competition adjudged No. 1 Training Battalion as the best team with highest points and was awarded inter training battalion quiz competition championship trophy for the year 2016. No 3 Training Battalion, No. 2 training battalion of ARTC & School secured second and third position respectively.
