Artists Promo Hub (APH) is set to organise a musical concert-cum-dinner on October 23 at Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima, from 5:30 p.m.
The event, described as the first programme to be organised by APH, aims to bring together emerging singers and artists from different tribes of Nagaland on a common platform to showcase their talents, build connections and encourage collaboration through music.
The programme will feature Naga artists including Hentok Konyak, Ruokuovoto Pfüsenuo, VK Khusoh, Avinuo Metha, Neilaü Thaprü, Thepfuneituo Talie, Mhasi Metsieo and Nguvili Assumi, along with stand-up comedian Hobi Tsang.
According to the organisers, Artist Promo Hub was established with the aim of connecting artists, creating opportunities and promoting emerging young talent across Nagaland. The organisers said the concert has been planned with an affordable ticket price to make the programme accessible to the public while encouraging support for participating artists.
They said the initiative has a larger vision of organising more events and creating platforms through which artists can gain exposure and reach wider audiences. APH is also collaborating with Music Cave Studio to support emerging artists through the recording and promotion of original and cover songs. The organisers noted that Nagaland has numerous talented singers and musicians, but many lack opportunities, resources and platforms to showcase their abilities and reach wider audiences through social media and other digital platforms.
Through the initiative, APH aims to discover, encourage, promote and support emerging talent and provide them with opportunities to be heard and recognised. The programme will also include live performances, dinner and networking opportunities for artists and attendees.
