ASHA training on 6th & 7th module (4th round) was conducted block wise in Peren, Tening, Jalukie and Athibung block from August 24 to 28.
The resource persons for the training were deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Tiala, SMO, CHC Jalukie Dr. Newmai, MO, PHC Azailong Dr. Imchatoshi, MO PHC Athibung Dr. Thangmang, Dr. Ramheigum, FIART, ASHA coordinators, Block Program Managers (BPM), MTS ,STS and ANM’s.
Officials from state National Health Mission (NHM), Directorate of Health and Family Welfare (DoH&FW) Chubala and state ASHA nodal officer monitored and supervised the training on August 13 at Peren and Tening blocks.
During training Chubala interacted with ASHAs and urged them to be sincere for better service delivery in the villages.
The training programme topics covered various topics. Written evaluation on these topics was also conducted.
At discussion hour on case study and practical sessions, trainees shared their concern, shortcomings and the difference in their respective village.
ASHA kit thermometer, weighing sling and scale, ASHA bag and IEC materials, posters, leaflets and booklets were also distributed. A total of 123 ASHAs attended
