Asha’s songs will remain eternal: Arunachal CM

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday mourned the death of legendary singer Asha Bhosle and said her song will remain eternal.
Bhosle died at the age of 92 at a private hospital in Mumbai on Sunday following multiple organ failure.
The chief minister said Bhosle enriched our cultural heritage beyond measure.
In a post on X, Khandu said, “India mourns the loss of Asha Bhosle ji, a legendary voice who enriched our cultural heritage beyond measure.
Her songs will remain eternal. My deepest condolences.”
Arunachal Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also expressed shock over the demise of Bhosle.
“Deeply saddened by the passing of legendary singer Asha Bhosle ji, whose life was a beautiful journey woven with music, passion, and dedication.
From her early years, she embraced music not just as an art form but as a way of life, touching countless hearts with her soulful voice,” Mein said.
He said Asha ji’s contributions to music will always be remembered with admiration and gratitude. Her voice may have fallen silent, but her melodies will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of listening to her.
“In this moment of grief, my heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and admirers. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” Mein added.
