A block level training for Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) on “Aapke Dwar-Ayushman” was held under Mon and Phomching blocks on October 30 and November 3.
In a press release, NHM Mon media officer, Leeyan Chemshy informed that the ASHAs were trained on improving the awareness of the scheme, increasing e-card penetration and establishing a continuum of care which will ultimately lead to increased utilisation under the scheme.
Resource persons for the training were ASHA co-ordinators of the blocks.
It may be mentioned that the training would cover all the blocks of the district in the coming week. Total 288 ASHAs are targeted to be trained in the district and would carry out household verification of eligible household in coordination with the village council.
