A four-day training on “paediatric care in COVID-19 related issues” for Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHAs) of Phek district concluded on August 27.
In a press release, medical department informed that the training was conducted to train ASHAs on preparedness and management of any sudden surge of COVID-19 related issues in children.
They were trained on danger signs, surveillance, signs and symptoms of Covid in paediatric, how to respond to prevailing myths related to COVID-19 in children, etc.
Resource persons were district hospital Phek paediatrician, Dr. Seyiekhrietuo, SMOs, block MOs, DCM, BACs and CHOs.
