Guwahati, Sep 11 (PTI): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday wished Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat a healthy and long life on his birthday.
Sarma said Bhagwat’s contribution towards strengthening the nation’s cultural values and social unity has always been inspiring.
“Heartfelt birthday wishes to the esteemed Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and a personality dedicated to the service of the nation, respected Shri Mohan Bhagwat Ji,” Sarma said in a social media post.
“Your contribution to strengthening the nation’s cultural values and social unity has always been inspiring. I pray to God for your excellent health and long life,” he added.
Bhagwat, the sixth and the current RSS Sarsanghchalak, turned 76 on Friday.
