Assam government fetes BPCC (A-N)

Jorhat District Administration on behalf of Government of Assam has felicitated the members of the Border Peace Coordination Committee Assam-Nagaland (BPCC A-N) during Republic Day function at Judges’ field at Jorhat on Monday.
Chief guest of the function Minister, Bishmita Gogoi, unfurled the tricolour and took salute of the traditional march-past. All the ranks and file of the BPCC (A-N) led by its president B. P. Bora and vice president Imsu Jamir attended the ceremony.
Executive members from Nagaland, N Lokok Ao, Daniel Ao, Imtionen, K Bendang, O. Sangpang, Yimjungyanger, Tia Aier and Subong Ao represented bordering villages of Aosenden, Aokum, Aosungkum, Saringyim, Tsuremmen, Akumen and Yajang.
Amal Mili, Hiren Gogoi, Manoj Choudhury, Jayanta Barua and Thanu Gogoi represented border areas of Jorhat District. Coordinator of BPCC (A-N) Er. Temsu Wathi Ao partook at the felicitation programme.
Cultural show comprising host of teams led by “Triveni” a theatrical NGO of Jorhat enthralled the audience. Naga Cultural team and the faculty & student community of Eastern Theological College situated at Rajabari Jorhat presented a vibrant dance.
