Assam Police arrests six

Six persons including a former NSCN (IM) activist were arrested by the Assam Police and CRPF during a joint raid carried out at Bor-Lengri, Assam-Nagaland border, Sunday afternoon, sources said.
According to the source, Police forcefully entered the house of one Motsuthung Jami at around 12: 30 pm and arrested six of them all belonging to Leo-Longidang under Wokha district.
The arrested persons who were taken to police station, Khatkhati were identified as Yanponthung Kithan, a salesman; Pipenthung Kithan, a medical department employee; Wosumo Lotha, a former NSCN (I-M) activist; Motsuthung Jami; David Murry and Nyanbemo Kithan, an IRB personnel who was later released. Sources said Police also recovered four revolvers and live ammunitions, two motorbikes, computer set and a painting machine for painting cars from the residence.
