Assam polls: Public advisory

In view of the forthcoming Assam Assembly elections, ADC Mangkolemba, T. Imtiwapang Aier has issued advisory to all villages and village council chairmen under its jurisdiction to inform the villagers that the Jorhat administration has imposed restriction of movement of all kinds of vehicles and people within 5 km belt on the Assam-Nagaland border from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m..
In a notification ADC, Mangkolemba further advised all the villagers not to carry arms for any purpose including hunting, to avoid any unwarranted situation. 
Public are also advised not to carry cash amounting to more than Rs. 50,000 while passing through Assam as Election Model Code has been enforced.
